Zion to Arches Hike

The hike is certainly impressive. But what's even more impressive to me is the documentation. You did an excellent job shooting and producing these videos. A ton of work went into them and it shows. All the shots of you walking past the camera require you to hike the same section of route at least three times. Not sure I'd have the dedication to do it. But you do it, and the results are worth it. Cheers to you inspring a whole new generation to get out on the Colorado Plateau.

Loved watching these as they came out. Definitely upped the production quality and I was hooked the whole time. I like how you have dynamic angles with the 360 camera.

So stunning! Thanks for sharing! Looks like an epic journey.
Just curious, but how much weight do you estimate that you carry in camera and video equipment? Are you just using your phone, or do you take a single lens or two?

Thanks.
My electronics kit may be heavier than some ultralighters' base kits! In the past it's been up to 10 pounds, though I don't think it was that heavy this year. Here's what I had:

Sony NEX-5 with a single zoom 18-55mm lens (died on day 11, but still carried it the whole way!)
Gear 360 camera
Pixel 2XL phone/camera
inReach 2-way communicator/tracker
shock-corded 4' tripod
mini 3" tripod
10,000 mAh power bank
Folding 28 W Solar Charger
misc extra small batteries, SD cards, adapters, and cables
