Yellowstone Backcountry Lottery 2026

I successfully got my Thorofare trip booked; starting & ending at 9 Mile TH this time. 5E4, 6C3, 6T1, 6Y6, 5E3, & 5E9. All of those sites out there were wide open for the first half of October.

Also, as it happens, I finally got something in the Glacier backcountry lottery; choosing sites one day after Yellowstone. We'll be there during the 3rd week of August. Starting and ending at Belly River TH; Gable Creek, Slide Lake, Mokowanis Junction, then back to Gable Creek for the last night. With such a late lottery draw, I'm quite happy with that.
