How did everyone's lottery submissions go? I got one for the first time in a couple of years, and the other people I know who put in did not get a date.

I got the 12th, hoping for Thorofare route in late August

I did not get one this year. Looks as if any foray north into Wyoming for me this year is going to be a Winds trip.

I got shut out, but someone else got a sort of early date.

The website says 75ish percent sucess rate, but there are an awful lot of rejections here (maybe an awful lot is an exaggeration)

Yeah aside from the most popular spots, you can still get permits in most areas with no problem.

I got the 7th and was mildly pleased - seeing this thread, I guess I should have been thrilled. Bringing a crew of friends w/ their kids up for their first ever Yellowstone trip, so I might actually be looking at competitive sites this year though.
