Yellowstone Approached 5 Million Visitors In 2021, A Record

Nearly 5 million visitors entered Yellowstone National Park last year, a record, though many of those were day visitors as the ongoing covid pandemic and construction projects limited the available lodge rooms and campground spots, the park said.

And just a reminder - if you're planning on staying anywhere managed by recreation.gov, their rolling 6-month window is now open into July and things are booking fast. I had to book a few extra days to get the dates I wanted in Gros Ventre. No comment on how bad the website is (I guess that actually is a comment - LOL).
