Hi-
We're planning a trip to the Wonderland Trail this summer. We've read that the hike is strenuous with a lot of elevation gain and loss. As we've never hiked in Washington, I was wondering if anyone who has hiked in Mt. Rainier and the White Mountains could compare these two types of trails. When we think strenuous ups and downs, we think the knee busting rocky climbs of the White Mountains. Is this what we should expect on the Wonderland as well? This will help determine the mileage we can accomplish each day.
Thanks!
Aly
