P1040097.JPG Well got back early, teaser doesn't show it..........Clouds, rain, hail, sleet, snow, wind. Did I say wind ? should be WIND. report to follow in few days................
 
Ugh...sorry to hear about the poor weather and having to cut the trip short. At least it'll be a memorable one?? =) Looking forward to the TR as well. I was supposed to be in the Winds this last weekend. Maybe it's a good thing the trip fell apart...
 
Welcome home Bob! Sounds like high adventure. Maybe uncomfortable adventure. Can't wait to hear details....
 
Haha......Gone two weeks on fires in Washington, home one day then WInds for a week, heading to Island Park and Yellowstone for the weekend Fri morning, I'll try.....a lot to catch up on :cry:

We just got back. We where in Winds last week. We ended up doing an out and back from Elkhart Park. We had a amazing time. Our weather was pretty decent throughout, but we did walk out from Lower Jean under heavy skies through blowing snow and rain. Fishing was cold to Red hot!
Camped someplace different each night.

ISLAND LAKE
UPPER JEAN
LOWER JEAN.
Loved every minute.
Pinedale was cool
Great brews at WR brewing

Hobbs is one of my favorites. sounds like fun, can't wait to read the TR.
 
Ha probably passed you, stayed at Hobbs Mon nite. On the knoll by the Titcomb Pothole lks Tue nite. Below Indian Pass Wed nite.
Rained on us to Hobbs, at Titcomb and at Indian..... have to see how close our reports are :confused: Perhaps you were the tents by us in Indian.... never saw the people...

We were on north end of Hobbs. You must have been the party across the trail further north. We were in a orange REI half dome!

Figured you got snow. Saw the absorakas were snow capped while I was at Wapiti Lake in Yellowstone with @scatman . Looking forward to your report.

Met one objective out of two on the trip........caught a decent golden, The lake I cannot mention the name appears to still have Goldens. Glaciers have to wait.
