Weather where you are…

Lol..... What humidity?

97 degrees here in Salt Lake today and that can only mean one thing - Black Mountain!

Wildfires already raging up here in BC. Lytton burned to the ground a few years ago and it is being threatened again. It has been 10C above normal and very little precip for weeks. Our summer could be something else.........

We are expecting an extra strong El Niño and an above-normal hurricane season. I don't need that; I just recovered from all the damage of the winter hurricane in March.
Right now, we have above-normal temperatures, and someone has cut off our typical tradewinds. We didn't have them in months. It is just hot and humid

We’ve been lucky in SE Michigan - beautiful weather and no AC for a couple weeks. But that changes starting next Tuesday, with highs in the 90s. Yuck.

Saw an AQI yesterday of 3000+ up in the northwest territories. Here in Glenwood Springs Colorado, it’s been pretty nice with occasional low to moderate smoke. Mid 80s for the high. It cools off at night into the 50s. Having said that, a lot of Colorado is on fire right now. I realize we’re just lucky where we’re at and that’s subject to change, especially with the monsoons coming in, which will result in a lot of lightning strikes. I have friends that were going to Boundary Waters and have canceled. I have a go bag ready and can be in my car in just a few minutes with my dog and cat but not sure if I could even get out of the valley with only one or two major ways in and out. Maybe we’ll go down the river. They closed several rivers here to fishing, including the Colorado and Roaring Fork. They’re at less than 50% flow so maybe I could drive down one of them. Just kidding, but I swear you could walk across the Roaring fork right now.
