There was a guy from St George that drove a low 2wd sedan to the trailhead. He really got lucky we had no rain during the day!

The road was dry when we got there and when we left.

There were a few sprinkles and flurries throughout the day but not enough to saturate the ground.

That's so bizarre! I guess it was just a little pocket that missed you. Glad you were able to get out and enjoy it and can't wait to see your pics!! Sad that we chose not to go. BUT, I will be back. And as for now, I stand by our decision to not go based on what we saw on radar, not to mention the crappy drive home and the busy ass day we both have tomorrow. Didn't want to be operating on low capacity with work, home and children. I've learned my lesson one too many times. HEHE! :twothumbs:
