still a few nice deep wading sections, but it finally goes down.
last month even the bottom up hike had chest deep sections of water

I have never been to Dawn Mist Falls. Was close 32 years ago but the trail had been closed, just north of it, do to bears. I have always felt Morning Eagle Falls was tremendous but have not been to it for 30 years. Jeff and I tried in June a few years ago but ran into more snowfields than we could muster. This falls with the snow and the green.........fantastic!

Happy Waterfall Wednesday
We finally got rain after 155 days and I skipped class and went to Zion instead. A lot of ephemeral waterfalls plus Lower and Upper Emerald Falls were finally flowing again.
Rainy day hikes are really the best, I really missed it a lot.

One of my favorites, though the flow was low this week. I like a little variety, though.
