headed to the Uintas tomorrow looking for a good car camping spot with a good short day hike(kiddos are coming) any ideas? good fishing a plus. I hail from the bighorn mountains of wyoming and don't know my way around down here yet
Trial Lake area if you can get a spot... plenty of unimproved camp sites along the highway but you might have trouble finding a spot on a summer Saturday. Ruth Lake is also a good easy outing with kids.
off I go! I truly hope these mountains are as great as the bighorns! any info, links, maps of the uintas would be appreciated let me know how i can become familiar with them!
