Hi all,
I'm heading up to the Uintas this week for an overnighter. This is basically a practice round with my new pack etc. I'm looking for a quick and "easy" overnighter that I could start on Thursday afternoon and be back by mid day on Friday. I'm thinking Ibantik lake but I'm open to suggestions.

Lofty Lake Loop is a good one, or anything over in that area. Great to hit on a weekday like that to avoid the crowds. Ibantik and that area is also a good choice. Perhaps the Clyde Lake Loop. You can't go wrong up there on a weekday.

Some of my reports from those areas:

Thanks! I'll give these a look. A friend of mine went up toe Amethyst Basin last weekend, and based on her input it looks like I'll need a mosquito net and some DEET.

Yep, the possibilities are many, especially if you are looking from something just off the MLH and all would be enjoyable. @Nick mentioned the Clyde Lake Loop, and I just posted a report on that this weekend, though I called it Seventeen Lakes. Good luck on your decision!
