Topo lines in the black background

I just noticed the topo lines in the black background and I dig them! :twothumbs: Is this something new or did I just not notice it until today?
 
Haha. You're the first person to say anything! I put them up at least 3 weeks ago. They're pretty hard to see on high contrast displays. Anyone else notice them?
 
I've noticed them when I zoom in. I thought is was from the scratch protector on my wifes Nook. Duh :facepalm:
 
I noticed them, just didn't say anything... I also have a low contrast display obviously...
 
I noticed them, but I can't see them looking straight at the screen, have to look from an angle. Maybe if I cleaned the dust off...

After cleaning the dust off I think it has more to do with how far from the screen I am, I use reading glasses which allow/require me to sit a little further away than I might otherwise. If I move closer I see the contours but text is not as clear.

p.s. please, try to contain your excitement with my report, I know it's a bit TMI but somebody had to go and ask didn't they? :)
 
At work I can barely see them on my dell monitor (ultra sharp), and that's knowing they are there and looking for them.... I can see them quite easily at home!
