On the north end of Kanab, UT is a sub-division called La Estancia. Yes, they paid me to promote them and get people to move out there.

Jokes. But on the northeast end of La Estancia is the trailhead to Tom's Canyon. It's a great hike if you are in the area. Winds its way up to the top of the Vermillion cliffs and connects to Squaw trail and Pugh Canyon (tons of other things too).
Anyway, after the trail reaches the top of the Vermillions it connects onto one of the 4 X 4 roads (Hog Canyon #3) and after following this for a few hundred yards it comes right near the technical fork of Tom's Canyon.

This canyon isn't a slot canyon like you'd find people popular in the Zion area, but it is a fun canyon with 5 rappels. All the rappel starts are super funky edges and all are overhung right away.
In the summer it would be a miserable day; you're right in the sun most of the canyon.
