The cats of Backcountrypost.com

Whjats that white stuff? ........ Did you move?

The dryer was probably warmer, but it looks like he/she is having fun :)

I must have missed the details earlier, boy/girl? Name?

Her name is Glacier and she loves the snow. I usually shovel a short path onto our deck and then let her get after it until she wears herself out, and then I can finish shoveling the deck. This was her first time to play in the snow this winter since we haven't had any until now.

My cat Pele Honuamea
Pele is a rescue from Best Friends in Utah. She moved with me from Utah to Washington and then to Hawai'i
And if she is still alive and kicking, she will move with me from Hawai'i to Eastern Idaho in about 2-3 years.

Have been wondering how you were doing, Yvonne. Beautiful kitty with a great name. Driggs is a really neat town.
thanks!!
Not a hundred percent settled on the exact area yet, but anywhere between Idaho Falls, Driggs, and Pocatello. I miss camping, backpacking, and real snow; we are super limited out here. Not to mention the cost of living that is increasing tenfold each month.
Pele will definitely move back with me.

I've spent a lot of time in Driggs and really like it, plus it's close to the Tetons. Teton Canyon has great camping and hiking. Really nice people, too.
