Suggestions for early April in Arizona, 2-3 nights

We have a two-week trip planned in Arizona and due to some unforeseen circumstances, we have three nights to fill from April e 5-7. I was thinking of the Cabin Loop in the Coconino Forest but the roads are still closed and it's not certain that they would be open by then. My second thought was the Secret Canyon, Bear Sign trail loop near Sedona but I'm concerned about crowds and parking. We will be in the Santa Rita Mountains and the Tucson area for our second week but we were interested in going a bit north for the first. But...any suggestions are appreciated. Thank you in advance, this group is always so helpful!
