It's been a really up and down winter here, with spring #4 last week, and right now a return to winter with spring #5 in the forecast for next week!

Snow level here at about 9000 ft. Water content is abouit 44% of normal, should be at about 75%.

Yeah, it's not good, although to be fair 2023 was a very big snow year and this year is a record low snow year. I wish I'd have downloaded a couple reference pictures from my 2023 trip before driving through this year, that was the only angle I got that kind of matched up. But no matter what way you cut it, the snow pack in Colorado is bad.

Just in time for the May long weekend, the traditional kickoff to camping season in Alberta- another tradition- snow! Being retired, we are waiting until better weather returns next week anyway, as "May Long" is always a s..tshow. Our yard ended up accumulating about 5 cm, but it's melting now.
