I've heard that the Schoolhouse Springs trailhead in Alpine, UT [40.482796, -111.759862] has a bunch of no trespassing signs where there has been a new road constructed to a new subdivision. I've been told it's not possible to access the trailhead (without blowing by the no trespassing signs). Does anybody know the status of access to the trailhead? I'm talking mostly about foot access (I'm gonna hike anyway so more walking is good), but also vehicle access. Thanks in advance!

I don't have up-to-date info but I was there last fall and yes, the "is there still access to this road?" road was still usable. and I parked just to the left of the left fletching of your arrow of "school house springs trailhead" and walked up from there.

I ended up giving it a shot on Saturday and found that there is a No Trespassing sign near where the old dirt road to the Lehi water tank intersects with the new road. I believe the No Trespassing sign is for the property on both sides of the dirt road not the road itself so walked up the road. At the Lehi water tank and gate there is another sign warning visitors to stay on the road up to First Hammongog and that property on both sides of the road is private. That seemed to confirm my conclusion at the lower sign. I continued up all the way to Second Hammongog on snowshoes and had a great day! Hope this info helps someone else in the future...
