Hello,

I'm looking to do a backpacking trip through Saguaro next April. I would like to do a loop hike approximately 25 to 30 miles. Can anyone recommend any trips they have done? I have checked alltrails and found one but looking for other suggestions.

Thank you!

Saguaro East doesn't lend itself to true loop hikes. Most multi-day trips are either out and back, a traverse, or lollipop. If you can arrange a car shuttle or Uber back to your starting point, there are a number of good options. Probably the best 3-night traverse would start at the Hope Camp Trail TH at the end of Camino Loma Alta, spend the first night at Grass Shack CG, the second night at Manning Camp, third night at Douglas Springs CG and exit to the Douglas Springs TH at the east end of Speedway Blvd. You shouldn't have any issue getting an Uber from there back to your starting point. If SoAZ has a decent winter, water shouldn't be a problem at the three camps. Total distance is about 28 miles.
