The headwaters of Stillwater Fork begin their long, circuitous journey to the Great Salt Lake in a gorgeous high alpine basin accessible from the Christmas Meadows trailhead. One of the highlights of this lush, wildflower-strewn cirque is Ryder Lake, resting timelessly below the soaring heights of Mount Agassiz and Hayden Peak.
