My first try - here at BCP
In 2007 I gathered some info about that area. In the late spring of 2008 and 2009 we did some hikes in this 'dreamland', located on the West Clark Bench..
Dreamland? Ok - IMO.
At this time that area was a little unknown. Unknown? No, maybe forgotten. Pictures has slept a little as 60 years in the archives.
H. E. Gregory does a shot from that territory, in 1944.

Here from 2009

We started at Buckskin TH and followed the Buckskin. After 2 mi or so we entered a easternly wash, reached a dryfall to the south and hiked in that direction.
From here you can start the exploration - till upwards to the 'horn' of The Dive.
Sorry about the picture quality - I'm not a photographer under the Lord.

awesome stuff - thanks for sharing your info on this area. looks like a great winter destination!

Thank you Dan,
oh yes, I've forgot this. In winter and early spring the sky is more clear than in the summer.
I saw some winter pictures from my outdoor buddy.

Oh Yeah! Very cool! Nice little trip!
That's what I'm looking for!
All over those hills.

By the way Michael, thanks for posting this report. Much appreciated. As long as we're down there, we'll probably put in for a South Coyote permit too. Everyone wants to see Cottonwood Cove again.

My pleasure, powderglut!
Oh yeh, South Coyote and Cottonwood Cove are othe fine playgrounds. Have fun!

Thx for your comments. :)
