Picture size question

Hi there, my cousins and I did an awesome backpacking trip in the Beartooths back in August. I tried posting a trip report, but all my photos (from an iPhone 16) were significantly larger than the 3MB max. What do you all typically do to reduce the photo size? Thank you!

I post on my blog and then link to that for photos. You could probably do the same with something like Apple photos, but if you delete the photos in the future, the trip report would not have any photos.

You can export from apple photos on your computer to a smaller size and upload as well. Large export should still work fine, I'm surprised that it's not working right off the phone. I'll look into it.

This works on my iPad, though the site generally seems to resize automatically.
