Phenomenal Views of Salzburg from the Untersberg Cable Car

My family and I took the Untersberg Cable Car up to the top of Salzburg Mountain in July 2025. It was a short trip on the gondola - less than 10 minutes - but well worth it for the views and the cooler temperatures. It was about 90F in Salzburg, but once we climbed up to a viewpoint, we could feel the temperature drop in real-time and it was much-needed after staying in a hotel with no AC! The wildflowers were beautiful and there was signage about the mountain range, local wildlife, plants and nature.
