Packs: On Another Subject

They used to make packs with daisy chains, loops, and other stuff so that you could lash gear to the outside of your pack. Some of the cheaper pack makers still do it, but makers like Gregory, Dueter (especially Dueter), and Osprey either no longer do it or do not provide enough for my taste.

My question is does anyone know of a company that does modifications to gear like this?
 
That is my experience with my Baltoro... very few places to lash to.

More reasons to keep and use my Terraplane and Jensen. Real pockets. Daisy chain. Lash points.
Wish I could answer your question. Just a hunch. A gear repair shop in Boulder maybe? A shoe repair shop might have a sewing machine that could add a daisy chain or three. The nylon webbing is easy to find.

Everyone is going lightweight.....have to look at mountaineering packs to get all that stuff on them now. Personally I don't like hanging things on the outside that flop around.
