I am a backpacker from the flat lands of North Dakota, but wander up into the Boundary Waters Canoe Area in Minnesota as well as the Superior Hiking Trail along Lake Superior. This last summer spent 15 days in Glacier National Park. Typically plan at least one extended weeklong backpacking trip each year with next year planning to spend time in the backcountry of Lake Clark National Park in Alaska.

Welcome! Can't be too many North Dakotan hikers out there (says the Nebraskan hiker)!

Hopefully I make it up to Lake Clark NP someday... would love to visit Richard Proenneke's cabin and see some of that country he wrote about.

Boundary Waters looks awesome and so does Glacier and anything in Alaska is great.
