Newer trail just plotted in Colorado, not by me. Good if you like long distance hiking and colorado scenery. You could get to hike it as one of the first....

I plotted the route and all the alternates on Caltopo........ but for all the trail guides and downloadable files go to their website..... https://www.northerncoloradotrail.org/

I am surprised that they have the trail crossing the Poudre river below Peterson Lake. The bridge there washed out decades ago and has not been replaced. I have a feeling a lot of people will be surprised, not an easy crossing until later in the year. The Comanche Peak Bypass would have been the more logical main route with the other being the bypass, but you would miss out on a nice section of above treeline hiking.

Looks like they pass through some of my favorite CO terrain. Devil's Causeway is where I realized I strongly disliked heights. A bit of a detour NE from Wall Lake and you'll get nice views of the Chinese Wall, (catch it at sunrise) though it will take you towards Trappers Lake and a bit more civilization. The Flat Tops are wonderful!
