Noob with future time on my hands.

Noob and trekker/traveler here. I stumbled on this forum trying to plan a Utah trip with the wife. We've got 2 little ones and my time at home is spent salivating over pictures you guys are posting and re-living my former life of my 20s where friends and I would hop in a car at a moments notice and head from Colorado to Utah on a whim. Ah - those were the days! I've explored a lot of cool places, but after reading trip reports on here my momentum to get out there is building. I don't have too much extra time on my hands with the kids - BUT, I did land my 1st teaching position in what will hopefully be a new career. A new career with summer and spring breaks and winter breaks to get some time away. I'd love to find some hiking partners on here and will keep browsing and using this great resource.
