Noob in SLC

Hello all - I just moved to SLC after a 20 month stint on the east coast. I'm originally from the midwest (Chicago area) and lived in UT for a little over a year back in 2011 / 2012. This time the move is permanent and I look forward to exploring / leveraging the amazing wilderness in my backyard.

Boston - great city but happy to be back West. "Played" a bit in the White Mountains but the drive was a bit of a deterrent.

ok, not "that" far from where I am now... Albany, NY area... you were just a couple hours drive from me... If I could convice the GF, I would head west for a while... I spent a couple months in 29 Palms, CA, but other than that I have been bound to the east coast, mainly the NE, PA and NY.
