Noob from Columbus OH

Hi all,

I'm new to Backcountry Post and wanted to introduce myself! I am from Columbus, Ohio and new to Backpacking as well. I went on my first trip last November to Red River Gorge, KY. It was a great experience and not only did it hook me into this awesome new hobby, but I learned more than I expected to on my first outing.

I look forward to meeting the members of this community and sharing stories, tips, and general friendly conversation!

I thought it would be fun to share that I just got an amazing deal on a brand new Big Agnes Tumble 1 MntGlo tent last weekend and I can't wait to go break it in on the trail in a few weeks.

Welcome! I'm originally from Indiana, been to Columbus a number of times. Looking forward to seeing the trips you take over that way! I'd like to backpack out there in SE Ohio, West Virginia, etc. sometime.
