I just write normal text underneath them as a caption. You can edit the text if you want it to appear differently than your standard body text.Is there any help online for creating trip reports? My current dilemma is that I can't figure out how to caption photos.
Well, for what it's worth, you aren't the only one. I just did a test to see if I could figure it out for you. Started a few different threads and saved as draft each time. When attempting to find the drafts after the fact I cannot locate them anywhere. So it must not be that simple or the functionality isn't working. However, I am quite computer averse and cannot be trusted!OK, now another problem from this newbie post writer: I can't find the draft of my post. How do I locate a draft trip report that hasn't been posted? Thanks for any tips!
Had the same problem so I just gave up writing trip reports. It is too bad that there seems to be no guide on the site for newbies to learn from....Well, for what it's worth, you aren't the only one. That's how I understand it. Maybe worth paging @Nick to see if there's any other functionality that hasn't been mentioned here. I'm not aware.I believe that if you start a report it saves a draft for you for 24 hours from the last time you worked on it so that the next time you log in and hit post thread, it will be there for you. I don't believe that you can search for your draft, again it is just there when you log back in and hit post thread. Of course, you need to be in the correct category - Backpacking or Hiking and Camping or Off Road etc. I'm not sure if it will save multiple drafts for multiple reports or not since I have never tried that before. My guess is that it will only save one draft at a time. @Jackson may know the absolute answer to your question though.
