Sorry haven't been there yet. Hold off until late October or November as the weather is roaring hot until that time. Silver City and Gila are close enough for a visit as well.

Do you have a 4x4? I know some that require a shortish hike and one accessible by 4x4. All are by dirt road and that means mud. Certainly keep an eye out.

I have 4x4 and lots of mud experience that comes with driving the backcountry during the monsoon.
