Thanks for posting these. It took me a while to track down some of these locations...but you've given me lots of inspiration for future trips!

Excellent!
Thank you, balzaccom. If that is the case for anyone I can help zero folks into the locations. The maps are fairly pinpoint. I've been dealing with concerns over giving things "away" (according to some land managers, though I try to be sensitive about fragility). However, looking at summit registers in various Mojave locations....few people bother to go here!

Beautiful views, it looks nice and quiet! Thanks for sharing, always lots of great inspiration John. Now... any critters to worry about at that time of the year? Just wondering what you saw on this trip? It's a bit more on our mind after the rattlesnake encounter this past trip plus seeing a scorpion crawl away from underneath my backpack last year.

Nothing in the way of creepy-crawlies or venomous teethy reptiles (hope to see a gila monster someday!). Just a tarantula, which seems like a pet up close. Temps were commonly in the 30's at night. I did have a coyote steal a pound of decaf coffee beans and a kit fox finish a tin of sardines while I wasn't looking. Lots of raptors.
