Great shots and impressive knowledge of the species you were photographing! The moose dodge was probably good practice for the Wyoming Range trip. I know that backward look... got too close to a bull moose in the Winds. Kept walking the trail ahead of me until it was ready to disappear. I didn't push the issue.

I'm hoping that dodge will come in handy in the Wyoming Range.

Thanks for the post, I think Mt Aire is always easier on skis from the I-80 / North Side.
Nice to see the snow is gone,
