Mosquito conditions in the Unitas??

I'm hoping to take my two kids up to the Uintas tomorrow for their first backpacking trip and to watch the Perseids. Given that it will be their first trip, I really want it to be a good experience and may have to delay it if the bugs are still bad given the prolonged stretch of hot weather lately. Has anybody been up to the Uintas this week? How were the bugs? I'll probably be heading to Ruth/Cutthroat lake area.
