I threw another 10lb. dumbbell in my pack and put some miles in at Mohican State Park to prepare for an August adventure in the Gallatins.

Started the morning off with coffee and donuts at Stela's.

Worked the legs by climbing some steps.

Stopped for a rest at Little Lyons Falls.

The trail was hazy and cool, thankfully it was not too humid.

Big Lyons Falls had much less water compared to the last time I was here, but more greenery surrounded it today.

A Tulip Tree flower, caterpillar, and some moss.

Trail to nearby Hemlock Falls. Ohio is very green this time of year.

It has been asked that you stay back from the falls for restoration efforts, so this is as close as we went.

Some interesting moss mushrooms. Mosshrooms?

YouTube short of some nearby sandstone and water.

Completed training day with an Orange Creamsicle Soda and Reuben Sandwich with Broccoli at the Black Fork Bistro.

The pack is up to about 50lbs. The August trip is shorter in length this year, but water sources may be an issue so I have to plan to carry more. @Bob says he plans on placing a water cache, but I get the feeling he will auction it off to whomever has the best snacks when our bottles run empty. :)

Headed out for a three nite shake down to the Taylor-Hilgard in LeeMetcalf Wilderness area with Joey.
