Since the Trail Guides section is still very new to everyone, I wanted to point out some of the features available to enhance the user experience.
Each guide features a star rating between 1 and 5 stars. Typically the trail guide author will rate it, but we want all of you to rate them as well, if you have been to that particular area. The more ratings we get, the more useful they are. Just hover over the star rating to rate the trail.

Each trail guide has a 'Like' button in the bottom corner, just like the like button you are used to seeing in posts. If you find a Trail Guide useful, let the author know it's appreciated by clicking the Like button.
There are two ways to make comments on a particular trail guide. You can use the built-in comments system for quick responses, to suggest additions or corrections to the content or post current conditions.
Or for more in-depth discussion, click on the Discussion Thread button and post in the Discussion Thread for that particular Trail Guide.
