Ice Lake, Wolf Lake and Cygnet Lakes, Yellowstone National Park - September 19, 2025

Wonderful TR per usual @scatman. Sounds like the perfect setting and setup for a large crew that gets on quite well.

Best of luck with the knee, too - I hereby volunteer for any future backcountry wheelbarrow duties should the rehab run long (it's pretty flat to Heart Lake, right?!), though I do wonder how much we'd have to tweak the rules of Brazilian Jiu Jitsu With Wheelbarrow to be prepped for any bear defense.

Thanks @wick e. pedia . I may have to take you up on the wheelbarrow duties. :D

Flat for the most part to Heart Lake until you reach an overlook, then there is a bit of a hill heading down to the lake.

Should be no problem pushing me down the hill, but I wouldn't have my worst enemy try and push my fat arse back up it on the way out. :D

I think if the wheelbarrow is big enough and it is a little grizzly, then we can just force the bear under the wheelbarrow and then we can all sit on top until the grizz gives up. If it is a medium to big sized grizz then we may have to ram it head on with my leg brace which seems pretty sturdy. :)
