My dad climbed Gannett Peak in September of 1957. I first came to the Mountain West in 2000, and I was hooked after a week in the Bob. The next season, my buddy from the East who moved to Helena, myself, and two other local guys spent 14 days crossing the Bob. I then borrowed a car, and having read my fathers journal of his trip, I went to central Wyoming. Only missed two summers since then.
