This sit looks like it could be interesting. I pack llamas in NV, ID, UT, and CA wilderness. Rangered for a season each in the Sierra and High Uintas. I will be going back to Amethyst this summer for photos, fishin', and kickin' back. As already mentioned, the Bighorn Crags is also on the agenda.

welcome aboard Michael. what area were you a ranger at in the sierras? take your llamas up while on duty?

I was in the West Walker Addition to the Hoover in 2009, just after it was given protection under the 1964 Wilderness Act thanks to Obama and Babs Boxer. I used llamas there as well as in the Uintas 2011.

Welcome Michael! This is a great site and a great place to get and share information. Read the Khumbu trip report to get into the proper spirit :D

After the fiasco last summer with a torn bicep, thanks to Llouie the llama, I plan a full summer for 2013. CA Sierra, UT Uintas, ID Frank, and NV Rubys. Nothing exotic, but a blast nonetheless. Summer seems so far away!
