My longest was a 2 night trip where I saw nobody between checking in with the NPS ranger to get my permit and checking out with a ranger per regulations there. The ranger confirmed upon checkout that I was the only permit issued the entire weekend.

Ironically, this happened in Maryland, the 5th ranked state in population density.
 
Hi There Everyone. Thought I would reply on this thread. Guess for myself, the longest I have gone on one stretch without seeing another human has been about three weeks. This was on a fall hike in the Thorofare. But here have been multiple times that have gone two weeks or so in one stretch without seeing another person. It was fabulous!!!

Now personally for myself, after a period of like two to three weeks in a hike, the hiker and the person transitions to such a state of harmonious bless or state of oneness with everything in what I have experienced which is wonderful. On many a summer between May and Labor day in early September, would come out for a resupply only like twice during that period.

But as for this thread, again have had many a two week period in which I never saw anyone else during the hiking. But the longest stretch without seeing another person, in one continuous segment or stretch of time, has been about three weeks.

I always see people when I go backpacking because I go for such a short time, so 0. But outside of backpacking probably 3 to 5 days haha.
