Last week I checked out one of the newer NM in the west. Browns Canyon Is best known for Whitewater rafting but the monument has a small trail system with good scenery of the surrounding 14000' peaks of the Sawatch Range and Collegiate Peaks. There are some interesting rock features in the Monument itself.
