I'm a noob to this particular site but, not necessarily to backpacking. I've just passed my 8 year anniversary from my first backpacking trip. What a ride!
I stumbled across this site, read some posts, and thought I'd join in!
I'm a vet tech in the southeastern U.S. My dog, Sawyer, (sometimes my husband's as well) is always a part of the trip. My husband has only recently begun to enjoy running off to the woods for a few days with me but, I try and get out at least once a month. I tend to hammock camp. Eh?? What else? Haha not sure what else to share so I'll just post some trip pics
I also camp with my horse, Chance, as much as possible. Also kayak camp on occasion. I'm generally happy just so long as I'm out in nature.
