Howdy - I've recently got back in to backpacking. A pandemic seems like a great time to do that! Been playing with new gear - man! stuff is way better, way lighter and WAY more expensive! Have been trying to get back in to hiking shape up on the Superior Hiking Trail since it is "open" and sort of near by, but, my soul is in the west having lived & loved in Utah; currently fixated on Colorado. I've got a trip to RMNP's Wild Basin coming up the first part of September (2020) that I'm stoked about and dynamically planning for; things seem to change! I'll be looking thru this site to see what beta I can gleam and I'm sure I'll have a few questions - LOL! Anyways - Hello!

Hi! Nice to have you! This group is ready for all your questions! :)

Welcome aboard!

Wild Basin is a wonderful, relatively non-busy part of Rocky Mountain National Park. If you hit Colorado in late September, you may be lucky enough to see the aspens changing - likely in higher elevations if the change is early this year.
