What's up folks? Taking a quick minute to introduce myself. My name is Joel. I'm almost 30 and I live in central Iowa. I've been a nature lover my whole life, and really got into back country trekking as a youth in Boyscouts of America. I've hiked a lot in the Great Smokey NP area, Glacier NP, and Rocky Mountain NP. I seem to always be looking for my next destination and have really enjoyed the wealth of information on this site. A big thanks to everyone involved in all of that! Not a lot of back country here in Iowa, but our state DNR is robust and does a nice job maintaining our state parks. Looking forward to getting to know some of you guys! Thanks for having me!
