Hey everyone I just wanted to introduce myself. I stumbled upon this site when I was researching info regarding a trip into the Teton and Washakie wilderness. I used to do quite a bit of backpacking. Spent a lot of time up in Yellowstone working for the concessioner & then the park service for six summers and two winters.
It has been awhile since I have been back up in Yellowstone country.. Raising a family and having a day job has a lot to do with that, as I'm sure some of you can relate.
I enjoy backpacking, riding my bike, and climbing. Specially I really dig multi day deep wilderness trips, getting off trail, and and cool ridge traverses.
I find myself with the rare opportunity (at least at this point in my life) this summer to get away for an extended period of time. I am eyeing an Absaroka trip and found this site.
I look forward to giving & receiving information on this site.
