Hey guys, new guy from central Texas getting into backpack hunting. My buddy and myself are headed to Colorado to chase elk this September. Looking forward to learning all I can about this.

I grew up in Texas. My dad worked at a really high level for a company there. They gave him some leases to some really premium land. The coolest place I ever hunted was around Uvalde. We didn’t see much. But it was like something from a movie . . . They actually said some of Indians Jones was filmed there.
