Guess the spot

Second hint. The lake, the peak, and a pass (out of photo) all share the same name

Not seeing any guesses, I'm going to cross streams (pun intended) with another hint.hint.JPG

I thought about picking a random lake in North Cascades or Olympic but couldn't get anything to remotely line up. Haha. The metric measurements on the topo make me wonder if it's in a Canadian national park though.

Your initial thoughts serve you well. It is a fairly popular and easy hike although one of the foot bridges is currently washed out so it requires fording a knee-deep raging creek of snow fed water.

Technically, it is just outside the park boundary, but I doubt many people would know the difference
As in, outside of the park complex (includes the 2 recreation areas associated with it--Ross Lake/Lake Chelan) or just outside the North or South unit of the actual North Cascades National Park (so it could be in one of those associated recreation areas just mentioned)?

Same state. Further south. This photo is taken from the North side of the peak. Bonus points if you name the lake.

The valley that contains the lake also has several others. The names of the lakes are rather valuable.

With that hint, I'll take a stab at gold lake south of Skykomish
Warm. Gold would be a hard, mostly off trail hike from this lake. You could probably manage it in a day, but unsure if the route would go.
