Greetings from a long time backpacker but new to this site! I was very excited to discover this site since my Wife and I are avid backpackers and look forward to trip reports and discussion with others from the BackcountryPost Family.

Welcome. Where have you backpacked? I used to live in Michigan, and spent a lot of time at Pictured Rocks, and up at Lake Superior Provincial Park. I live in Wyoming now, and miss the clear water. Heck, I just miss water.

The water was the biggest downside in moving from Michigan to Utah.

Have not hiked Pictured Rocks but its on our bucket list. Backpacked all over Glacier National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Denali National Park, Olympic National Park, and Isle Royale National Park. Also several areas in British Columbia. We love the Northern Rockies!
