Gear Prep 2025: Yellowstone Hiker

The @CajunPoncho is back! Second only to the return of @Rockskipper ! So looking forward to backpacking with you once again.

Chad Mendes Rocks!

What ingredients do you anticipate will be in/on your burrito this trip? Oh, and don't forget the sauce this time.

Did you ever find the way to Harvey's? :roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao::roflmao:

Bring a leash for @TractorDoc so that he doesn't get lost in the thermal area this time.

I'm like a beagle that catches the scent of a rabbit. . . only its the aroma of sulfur that tickles my nasal buds. One whiff and I high tail it in the general direction of steam and bubbling mud.

I'd probably just snap the leash. . . I do not advocate the use of shock collars, but one of those might work better to keep me in line in such situations. :D

Your sense of thermal areas is really quite impressive. I'm thinking hog-tied like the grizzly at the Specimen Creek Trailhead on Friday might do the trick. :)
