Forget about the Grizzlies in Yellowstone. Now you have to worry about......

I saw that the other day. A commenter on the site where I saw it said that this was the most convincing evidence of the existence of bigfoot he had ever seen. I thought, "Really?"

Looks like some guys in snowmobile suits to me.

And I must be incredibly brave, hungry, or stupid, because I've been MUCH closer than 50-75 yards from bison.

Oh, give me a break....Digital camera.....no decent zoom on them.......
Couldn't even get Yellowstone right....... that's not very credible

I think it's bison that figured out how to walk on two legs....

Another ...... the return of the beast:

The Beasts in the Geysers
A Crow legend tells us of the geysers. A Crow brave named “Old Woman’s Grandchild” fought many fearsome beasts in the lands of Yellowstone. When he had defeated them, he turned them into mountains and hills.
Old Woman’s Grandchild fought a mighty buffalo who breathed out great gusts of smoke from his nostrils when he charged. When Old Woman’s Grandchild defeated him, he turned him into a mountain that blew out great bursts of water. Then Old Woman’s Grandchild defeated a great lion whose roar caused similar bursts, and he placed the lion near the buffalo so the buffalo would not be able to return to life without being eaten.

@Bob, I've spent a fair amount of time at Mammoth and never got a shot like that. Great catch. You think he was hunting the elk that hang out there?

Just cleaned my lense so it didn't turn out fuzzy.... :roflmao:

If something starts tearing up the tent in the middle of the night, I doubt I will make any effort to distinguish bigfoot from a bear.

And they're not on any list-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Ha. As someone who works in visual effects I find these videos laughable. I could throw a big foot video together in an afternoon that looks better than 90% of these videos that are always popping up.

Do it!

But post it here first.

I've been ranting about this video for two days. My wife is sick of listening to me. Among the things I've been ranting about: the guy repeatedly states that it's illegal to be within 75-100 yards of the bison when a 5 second Google search shows that the Park rules for bison state that you can't be closer than 25 yards. By why research your claims? And he repeatedly states that they're either Bigfoots or people wearing monkey suits...can anyone here see fur or hair in that grainy video? I could go on, but it'll just rile me up more.

And no one ever gets closer than that!

That lady has more hair than I could see on those people in the rented snowmobile suits.

That reminds me. I had one of those things charge me as we creeped past taking photos in my wife's car. Scared the crap out of me. Had to hit the gas to get out of the way.

What ever happened to @backwoodsBob? He'd get a kick out of this.

Of all things, the scariest bison encounter I ever had was on Antelope Island. I was picking my way among some tall boulders when I rounded around one tall boulder and came face to face with a bison. He (or she) was about 15 feet away. He jumped. I jumped. He peed. I don't recall peeing. He turned around and ran off. I breathed. I've had them stare me down pretty good in the backcountry of Yellowstone but I've never had any problems with them.
