I am wondering if truck camping is allowed at Bog Lakes ? Or if camping is allowed along any of the FS roads leading out towards Five Pockets from Dubois ? Many thanks !

I'd bet @Absarokanaut knows. I'd be surprised if there were restrictions.

I've been interested in seeing Five Pockets. Hope you're able to get out there.

"Boondocking" is generally permitted everywhere on Forest lands here unless signed otherwise. I truck camped quite near Ramshorn Lakes just a few years ago and have camped at Burroughs Creek on that loop road several times.

Every National Forest creates a Motor Vehicle Use Map (MVUM) for their lands. These can be found at:

Find the State and the Forest you want the info on. For your question, you want the Shoshone NF, South Zone, side 2.
